Art Napoleon: kimahihcihinân!

Big warm congratulations today to Art Napoleon as he receives his MA degree at UVic’s convocation ceremony. kimahihcihinân: You make us proud. And to his advisor, linguist Leslie Saxon, too: I know Art has made everyone proud.

I’ve chosen to steal this image from Art’s Facebook gallery of the event. I’m not 100% sure, but if you are struggling to reclaim or maintain the Cree language, you can take this photo as a reminder: you (yes, you!) can do it too!
