pê nêhiyawêk — Come speak Cree in Winnipeg

WinstonWith Winston Wuttunee

Working along with the Cree Literacy Network, Winston Wuttunee is assembling an informal Cree Conversation Group here in Winnipeg. Place and time to be announced within the next couple of weeks, depending on interest.

Come for tea and bannock and a chance to practise your Cree with fellow students and master speakers. Special guests – poets, musicians, linguists, teachers and elders – will help keep the conversation going.

Most of all, we hope to create a chance for people to meet, talk and laugh together in Cree.

Information about the group will be posted online at: http://www.creeliteracy.org

Email Arden at: creeliteracy@gmail.com for updates.
