Another Great Read in Cree available for online preview

AW-grandHow wonderful to discover this morning that the first 100 pages of my all time favourite book in Cree is now available online for everyone to share! I know what love and care went into the creation of this book by Ahenakew and Wolfart, because I was there from beginning to end.

Preview: kôhkominawak otâcimowiniwâwa / Our Grandmothers’ Lives, as told in their own words. Freda Ahenakew & H.C. Wolfart, 1998.

To make it even better, you can still buy copies from the Publisher, Canadian Plains Research Centre Press at the University of Regina.
